Photoshack rents portable photo booths for events such a weddings, graduations, and corporate events. You name it, they do it. Although Photoshack is based in Mammoth Lakes, they will bring the photo booth to you! Nils Davis Design had the pleasure of designing their logo, business cards and website. Newletters can be a powerful tool for organizations to keep in touch with thier donors/members. Donors want to know how their donations are being used, plain and simple. eHow Money states "A newsletter is one of the most important tools for a nonprofit. GBUAPCD Website Redesign

Over the past few months Nils Davis Design has been working very hard on the redesign of Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District website. The GBUAPCD is a California regional government agency that works to protect the people and environment of Alpine, Mono and Inyo counties from the harmful affects of air pollution. Nils Davis Design is proud to announce the completion of this redesign, as it is our biggest website project to date. The site combines slideshow imagery, dynamic script, server side code (PHP), video monitoring, database editing and more. The site in it's entirety is almost 500 pages. Thank you to Phill Kiddoo for working so closely with us and providing such great feedback for this project.

Bodie Hills Brochure

A few weeks ago we posted the logo we designed for the Bodie Hills Conservation Partnership. Last year the organization hired Nils Davis Design to design a double sided tri-fold brochure. This year, along with designing the logo, the BHCP decided to change out some of the photos and update the text in the brochure. Below is the finished product. All of the spectacular images were taken by local photographer John Dittli. Check out his site to see more amazing images of the Eastern Sierra.

Crossfit Websites

Nils Davis Design is proud to showcase two websites we recently designed for Molly and Colin Broadwater of Crossfit Bishop. Colin and Molly just opened another Crossfit gym in Mammoth Lakes (congrats you guys!). Nils and Keri Davis designed the original Crossfit Bishop site, but we decided to take the oportunity to update the look when we were putting together the new Mammoth CF site. Both company logos were designed by Nils Davis Design as well.

Bodie Hills Logo

This week Nils Davis Design wrapped up some fun projects, including a logo for the Bodie Hills Conservation Partnership. The BHCP is a non-profit organization working to preserve the Bodie Hills' status as a Wilderness Study Area, therefore preventing threats from large-scale mining interests and development. We highly recommend taking the 20 minute detour off Hwy 395 to visit the Bodie Hills– you won't be disappointed with what you find. It is truly a gem of the Eastside.

Wildflower Hot Spots

Nils Davis Design recently wrapped up a fun and inspiring project for the BLM. This 48 page wildflower guide highlights some of the best spots to view wildflowers in the Eastern Sierra. Pick up a copy for $1 at any of the US Forest Service locations in the Eastern Sierra. This project involved some great people, including Kim Stravers/The Type Righter LLC, Kathleen Nelson of the US Forest Service and Anne Halford of the BLM. Thanks also to Sue Weis for the maps. Kim did an amazing job copy editing the guide. You won't find a more thorough and talented editor!

High Sierra Fall Century

Nils and I don't road bike, but if we did this event would be one not to miss. Riding 100 miles through one of the most beautiful places in the world, the eastern sierras, sounds glorious. Nils Davis Design had the opportunity to work with John Armstrong of the High Sierra Fall Century designing the event's riding jersey and promotional pieces, such as ads and posters. Come out and support your local animal shelter and the Eastern Sierra Dog Rescue by registering for the 1st annual Doggie Dash Fundraiser. As we all know, there are way to many homeless pups out there waiting to be adopted. Meet at Bishop City Park, pay $20, and feel good about supporting a great local cause. Nils Davis Design had a blast designing the poster!
