Nils Davis Design was asked to design a commemorative logo for Inyo County. Pulling from the existing Inyo County logo, the goal was to honor the original, draw attention to 150 years, and pay respect to the Paiute and Shoshone people with a design element in the border.
Packaging design is always interesting, and adds special challenges to an otherwise two-dimensional design process. Nils Davis Design was asked to give a new look to a set of animals supplements by Vivo. I updated the logo a bit, and gave a fresh look to the labels. The goal was to update the fonts, colors and images, therefore making the new designs eye-catching and modern, but also calming.
Originating in 1969, the annual celebration of Mule Days on Memorial Weekend has put Bishop California on the map. The event is proud to host the longest running non-motorized parade in the U.S. Our world-class celebration of the mule is unlike any other equine event in the country, and attracts an average of more than 20,000 participants a year.
Nils Davis Design was asked to design this year's event advertisement, flyer and poster. The goal was to honor the uniqueness of the Mule, while showcasing the highlights of the week-long celebration. For more information visit muledays.org.
